Well iwould say that if not update software programing for this problem like some other cars. you are going to have to remove some dash trim to gain access to i/p cluster retaining screws, remove screws then cluster, some clusters have serviceable backlighting bulbs & some you would have to take apart to de-solder where the bulb is located behind the gas gauge and try to find one someware. most clusters know a days are not technician serviceable unless you are a special technician. just send out for repair reinstall, reprogram with latest software, and current milage. done deal.

My bet even though you didn't post the make and year of vehicle, that you have a ground problem. Not to mention other loose connections. Please provide and update of the vehicle.

On my 93 Chevy caprice the dash lights and cluster won't work. Gas gauge went so far up that I can no longer see it.

First check and see if the dash light dimmer control on the headlight switch is turned down all the way, which shuts off the dash lights. As far as the gas gage goes that is more then likely a defective gas tank fuel level sending unit.

My dash light doesnt come on anymore, how do i fix

They probably took the bulb out or it is burnt out. I would check the bulb. The dash light is supposed to light every time the car is started. It is called a bulb check.

Have you checked the fuses? Look in the owner's manual for the locations... you might have just blown one.

No spark to plugs, oil pressure light on, engine died

Is your dash cluster working? If not this will cause the problem. The gas gage, temp gage, odometer, and transmission shift indicator will not light up. Give the dash a hard thump above the cluster this may or may not temporarily fix the problem.
