Hello! Sorry...From the initial request I thought you were trying to disable the DRL...Now I see they are disabled; Lets fix them...

I do not believe The problem is one of the 3 DRL relays, in that the trouble began when you changed the turn signal bulb...

Have you given the area you worked in a good visual inspection?

This is a multimeter trouble; Do you have one?

Hello! Two additional fuses to check...Fuse High Left=15amp...
    Fuse High Right=15amp...

If fuses are good ...Turn on headlights and check for a ground on the Red/Black wire at the headlight connector...Then check for Battery on the Red/Blue wire...Tell me what you find...There are 4 DRL relays; If fuses are good, these readings will tell me which relay is defective...

    It's 11pm and I'm signing off; I'll be back on at 7am...

Where is the fuse located for the daytime running lights on a 2005 Chev Siveraado?

It is located in the underhood fuse/relay box , marked DRL 10 amp fuse ! Also if that is good check the DRL relay in the same fuse/relay box .Your light sensor could also be bad .
The daytime running lamps (DRL) will operate when the ignition switch is in the RUN position, for automatic transmissions (A/T), the gear selector is not in the PARK position, the headlamp switch is in the AUTO position, and for manual transmissions (M/T), the park brake is released. When these conditions have been met and the ambient light sensor indicates daytime conditions, the DRL will illuminate. The ambient light sensor is a light sensitive transistor that varies its voltage signal to the body control module (BCM) in response to changes to the outside (ambient) light level. When the BCM receives this signal it will either turn on the DRL or the headlamps for auto headlamp operation. Any function or condition that turns on the headlights will cancel the daytime running lamps operation. The DRL can be manually turned OFF by depressing the AHL/DRL switch in the headlamp switch
Do you know that on inside of fuse box lid it shows what fuse is what .

Which fuse is for the daytime running lights for a 2005 Chevy Siverado?

The DRL 10-amp fuse in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the DRL relay switch contacts and relay coil. When the BCM energizes the DRL relay , the DRL receive voltage on the DRL supply voltage circuit.

Nissan avenir dash lights

There is a fuse for the warning lights and gauges. Yes, you checked the fuses and relays, but you need to check if power is there at the fuse, with the key in the on position.

Here's how turning the key to on causes the warning lights and gauges to turn on: From your ignition switch the on or run wire out of it will have power with key on. The run wire will also send power to the part of the fuse panel that is of the category "hot in run or on", where your fuse for the dash warn. lts. & gauges is- it may be labeled "meter" or "gauges" or like that. From the fuse, a hot wire goes into the harness for the instrument cluster-for the warning lights and gauges. The wire, like the fuse, is only hot in on or run.

The ignition's run wire may splice with a direct connection to some fuses, or more likely there may be an "ignition relay" that powers the "hot in run or on" fuses, and the run wire is used to turn the relay on. You could look for this relay just above or around the fuse panel under the dash. But the easiest place to start is to see if the fuse for the gauges has power to it with the key in on. If it does, the problem is up further on at the cluster connection or a ground for the gauges and cluster. If the fuse has no power available, then the problem is between the ignition switch and the fuse panel. That could be a faulty ignition relay.

Hi, this may true if you connected the trailer brake to the connector on the factory wiring harness. There are several fuses that are needed for trailer towing. In the box by the battery, fuses 13, 25, 27, 53, and 54 are needed. You will need a relay in relay slot 19 for the trailer running lights, a relay in relay slot 20 to charge the trailer emergency battery; and, if your trailer has backup lights (6 or 7 wire connector), you will also need a relay in the relay slot 15. If you did not use the factory connector for your trailer brake controller, check to make sure you have connected the controller to an appropriate power source in the truck. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

I need to know were to find the DRL Module for a 2003 F-150 4x4. My hi and low beem lights work ok , and the auto light sencor works . Its that my Day time running lights do not come on .

The wiring diagram does not show a stand alone drl module for the 03 f150. However it shows 2 drl
relays located in aux. relay box #2 located behind the right side of the dash, left of the glove box.
Also there is the drl resistor located behind the grill, right of the left headlight. Relay #1 is fused at
fuse #5-15a in the fuse block under the left dash. Relay #2 uses fuse #26-10a under left of dash.
Hope this helps.

I need to know what fuse or relay is for the running lights ??????

Hi.

Check the tail lights. If the tail lights are OK, then check only the fuse.

If the tail lights are off , replace also the relay.

The relay is located in the engine compartment, in the box on one side.

The fuse is in the same box in US model , but in Canadian model you need to look in the box at the front.

See the diagram below:
