Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT
Depends on which engine the car has, some models need to have the passenger side upper engine mount removed in order to remover the belt, do not lift the engine by the oil pan in this instance because it is made of aluminum and can crack very easily. check with a local mechanic to see if this is the case with your car. if it is then i do not recomend you try to change it yourself, it will take a tech about an hour to do it.
