Question about Lexus RX 330
Thanks for using FixYa. I think it’s overheating that’s causing this issue however you can also check the gas tank cap may be that’s not tightened and you need to tighten it. The check engine light is on because ECM (Control Module) detected a fault with your car's system. ECM has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and your car needs to be looked at. You'll need to get the codes checked from a nearby dealer/mechanic. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.
