Question about 2002 Ford Thunderbird
1st here is a link you can follow to the Ford Fleet site for a free PDF owners manual.
You are not the only late model Ford owner hearing this beeping, if u don't see any warning lights staying on in the dash after starting then then this can be related to the SRS system, that is the Airbags in the car, the owners manual doesn't mention it, it could also be a glich in the system since so many owners have the exact same complaint, my advice is see if the SRS system has any fault codes stored, this test will need to be done by the Ford dealer, they may also be a factory service bulletin about the beeping, I have not heard or seen one but that doesn't mean there isn't one around. I will continue to check on this and see if I can find any more difinitive information, suggest you read the owners manual and make sure u understand the workings of the car.
