Jack the car up and put it on jack stands. Disconnect fasteners retaining the splash apron under the radiator. These form part of the wheelwells on each side. Remove the fascia where it is attached to the fenders. Each side will have 4 bolts. remove the 2 bolts i bottom of the bumper they will be on each side of the license plate in the front. Remove the 2 upper bolts in the grille area. This will allow you to remove the bumper skin. To remove the impact bumper remove the u bolt on each side they each have 2 nuts. remove the bumper

I have to replace the right front fender on my 1999 grand cherokee. What kind of problems am I in for?

None thats difficult...Just loosen all the bolts, and it will slide right off....Look at the new part, and you will see pretty much everything you will need to do...You have a couple under the hood, you have a couple underneath the bumber, and some when you open the door...Goodluck...

Scratched front bumber

Get it fixed by the other parties insurers. It will and should not cost you a cent. Failing that there are several non insured loss recoverers out there. Just search online.
