If it does not work at all, then sure, start replacing parts if you have to. But if one of the settings still work, then it is burnt and corroded wires that is the problem.
Look underneath your dash with a torch. You should be able to see 4 thin wires going into the dash where the blower motor is situated.
Most of the time you can spot some of the wires that are burnt and/or corroded. These wires are too thin and needs to be replaced with thicker wires and new connectors.

Hi you need a new heater control panel, you may be able to repair that one but will have to take it out to see.
