You have a bad fuel sender in the gas tank or a bad ground going to it.

How to remove the gas tank on a 2003 Dodge Stratus

On Yahoo.com, master certified Dodge Man says: "Some newer Chrysler's actually have a drain plug on the bottom of the fuel tank, if so, it is as simple as removing it and catching it in a suitable pan, if not you could jump the fuel pump relay in the power distribution center, disconnect the fuel supply line and route into a suitable container before hand. This uses the vehicles fuel pump to drain the tank.
Always think safety, and have a fire extinguisher handy, don't try this in an enclosed area, due to flammable vapor buildup. "

On my 2003 dodge stratus se sedan 4 cyl dohc.. Car started overheating and also blows cool air when heater is on. I just changed thermostat and refilled antifreeze and iwhen tested was blowing hot air...

Did you check to see if you have water or anti freeze in the oil? You could have a blown head gasket. This would be why you are adding fluid so quickly. let me know.

How do I siphon the gas out of my 2003 dodge stratus?

if you cannot get a hose down the filler tube to use as a siphon(anti theft fitted) and there is no drain plug in the tank then a suggestion I can make is to remove the fuel hose from the outlet side of the pump and connect a long hose from there to your fuel tank and turn the fuel pump on. It may take a while but it will work

03 Dodge Stratus ran out of gas and now wont start

There is no reset.
The fuse and pump relay should be in the fuse box near the battery.
You may have to disconnect the filter or the rail to let the air out of the system. And you may have plugged up the screen in the tank.

1998 Dodge stratus ran out of gas - filled tank but car won't start now

I had the same problem with my 98 Stratus.....i ran out of gas and wouldn't start afterwards....checked the pump because i thought maybe it overheated due to running without fuel in it to cool it.......but that wasn't it.....It turned out that the crud in the bottom of the tank went and plugged the fuel filter up.....changed the filter and voila......it's good as new.....hope this helps you out.... =-)
