Check in the trunk, if the trunk was fully packed the wire to the speaker gets pushed onto the body panel and shorts out. It's happened on mine a couple of times.

Hi does any body no where the fuse for the radio is kept in a 53 plate Peugeot partner van, radios stopped working surspect fuse, cheers thanks

If you pull the radio out, the fuse should be slotted into one of the conectors that go into the back of the radio unit, normally a 10a ...well on mine it is which is a 51 plate, think its the same model.

After dark I get no sound out of my speakers. Any other time of day it works great.

I take it you mean that the radio stops working completely once the headlights are switched on. So if you sit in the car during daylight hours and turn the lights off and on, the radio does the same except the other way round (lights off, radio on). Have I got that right?
It cannot be the fuse because the radio wouldn't work at all if it had blown. The wiring may well be the problem. Something is either shorting or I am thinking that there is not enough power (for whatever reason) to run both lights and radio at the same time, although the battery draw on a radio is relatively low. Is your battery charging correctly? Does it happen if you open all doors and the interior lights operate. Try opening all the doors and turning headlights off and on. Do the interior lights turn off and on like the radio does?

Where is the fuse panel to find the fuse for the stereo? The stereo started to short out and completely stop working. No clock, no CD, no tape or radio. Completely dead. Thought I would try the fuse first...

If this is a town and country, the fuses are located in a box in the engine compartment just to the right of the battery. The box has a platic cover that should tell you what each fuse and relay is. Please let me know if this answers your question and please rate my response for me. Thanks

My radio stop working i think this is a fuse how do i find correct fuse

if it is a fuse what made the fuse blow?? there is a reason why fuses blow, and that is a shorted circuit or component, but here is the number of the fuse for the radio.
fuse #50, it is a brown 7.5 amp fuse in the pass compartment fuse box.

Radio fuse on steering wheel went out

it is not the fuses, if the fuses where blown the radio would not work, this is caused by the rotaqting ribbon contact under the steering wheel having an open circuit, this contact is what allows the wheel to turn but still have a connection to the steering column wiring and the radio..
