Average £100 to £180 depends where you go, if you have fully comp insurance you might get this for fre, so check with your insurer to find out.

2008 corolla windshield washer not working

I just had one replaced on my 2008 Corolla.

The location of the motor and reservoir is poor. It's on the passenger side of the car, just behind the bumper. Road salt corroded the interior of the pump. I asked the dealer to save it for me, and I also noticed that the motor exterior had cracked in 2 places!

Here's a great Youtube explanation for how the motor or the windshield washer reservoir are replaced.

The cost at my dealer was $ 158.00 Canadian. The part ("genuine Corolla part") was 67.74 which is 3 times overpriced than what you can get it for on ebay or at a local car auto parts dealership (Generic).

This is the 5th item on my car that was either poorly designed or made form poor materials. I'm beginning to think that the Japanese products just aren't what they used to be,especially for a 5 year old car that has only 54,000 KM on it!

Windshield wiper transmission

I have been a GM mechanic for thirty-five years and I have never heard of a wiper "transmission." Your wiper motor would cost about 300 bucks to have replaced, parts, tax and labor.

High Mileage.... No Timing belt change!....

If you buy this car, you should change the timing belt asap. Check Edmonds, and other internet sites for average prices, (197k miles brings the price down for sure, internet sites should give an amount to deduct for the miles) average for this year is around 70k). The fog light and small dent aren't big issues, but deduct the cost of timing belt change from prices you get on the internet. Good Luck coountrycurt0
