Question about 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser
To change the timing belt on your 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser, the motor mount on the passenger side must be removed, which means jacking up and bracing the engine. You must also remove the front tire on the passenger side in order to gain access to the front of the engine to remove the crankshaft pulley. You will probably need a puller to get that pulley off. You may also need to remove the lower strut. The cam shafts are not removed, its the crankshaft pulley that has to come off.
