Question about 2004 Ford Windstar
Mechanically challenged and need to clean the MAF to troubleshoot codes to get it to pass smog. This is my first step then going to look for vac leaks. Where is it actually located on the engine?
Located between the air box and throttle body on the drivers side. You really cant clean them except blow it out with air. Its better to replace it. If you break one of the small wires that measures air it will not work right and the car won't start at all. If check engine light is on take it to and auto parts store that will scan the computer for free.
