As a matter of fact there isn't one. I wondered the same thing when I had to tow another Saturn. Just find a hole in the engine cradle and loop it through there. It works just the same as a tow point (such as the back of the car under the rear bumper).

Can a 2006 saturn VUE 4cyl, 2.2l front wheel drive be flat towed?

if it is an automatic transmission it will need to towed with the front wheels off the ground
Short distance towing with any automatic transmission is ok but it has to be remembered that the gears/bearings will be without lubricating oil
the user manual for all automatic cars states to remove the drive shaft before towing and as that is impracticable with a front wheel drive car , best to tow with the wheels of the ground
consider putting it on a car trailer behind you MH as an alternative operation

Can this car be towed with 4wheels on the ground

YES!!!! The Saturn is one of the few automatic tranny cars that can be towed on all four wheels !!!!
Check your owners manual , it's all in there. You'll have to pull a fuse and set up the shifter ,but read your owners manual.

tow with the front wheels in the air. hook up were you get a solid attaching area that won`t pull apart when you pull it with another vehicle.

I have a 2003 saturn ion can i flat tow it behind my rv someone said the trans still works and will heat up

It is not advisable to tow an automatic. All kinds of things happen like pumping out oil or parts running dry. If you need to tow it the driving wheels must be lifted off the ground or the drive shaft/s disconnected. Towing it on a Mobi-jack will be a viable alternative.

Are t here any special preparations to do to a 2003 Saturn Ion to tow it behind a motor home?

The front wheel must be off the ground or you will damage the transmission if it is an automatic, other than that no special requirements.

Looking for front tow hooks

Front bumper tow hooks are large, easily visible hooks that are attached to the exterior of the vehicle's bumper.
Primary Benefit: Tow hooks can be used as a point of attachment for chains or straps to extract a stuck vehicle.

Can 2008 saturn astra be dinghy towed(4 wheels down)behind an RV?

You can do it if you really wanted to. You'll need to make sure the steering wheel is secured and that the wheels are perfectly straight or you will wreck the front tires. You will be adding unneeded mileage onto the the car by having the front wheels turning. would be better and less costly overall to get trailer that you can put the front end up on.

Where is the front tow point on a ford foucus

Manual says: It is recommended that your vehicle be towed with a wheel lift or flatbed equipment. Do not tow with a slingbelt. Ford Motor Company has not approved a slingbelt towing procedure.

US models do not have the front tow point.

I want to know if a 2002 saturn L100 4 cyl can be towed with a tow bar

Hi,

To my knowledge, generally on most vehicles:
  • if it is manual transmission, yes;
  • if it is automatic front wheel drive, front must be lifted;
  • if it is automatic rear wheel drive, rear must be lifted;
  • if it is all wheel drive, no.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
