You got to scan for codes first ,crank the engine first ,don"t put key in off position (that may erase CPS sensor codes )and scan it first.

Hi, going mad! My Kia Sedona starts ok when cold most of the time,as soon as you turn it off when hot cam belt by Kia and pump ..easy strart used next injectors / rail etc.?Thanks Lee uk car

If it's not starting when hot. Look at the coil/s, ignition module. check for spark the next time it happens. Crank sensors usually work or not. Been a couple times I have seen them cause this problem. If it doesn't crank when hot, this is the starter.

Starting wont start

Does it turn over really fast, like no compression, free wheeling? If so, timing belt broke. If it has a slight drag, then have the codes read. Could be crank sensor, ignition module, fuel pump.

I have a 2003 Kia sedona ran out of igas now wont start the code I get say crank posistioning sensor will that cut or cause the fuel pump not to work cause I get no humming from it the code is p0335

No this does not affect the fuel pump. It will affect the spark though. Hit the gas tank in the center a few times. If it starts then replace the fuel pump. Unfortunetly pumps with a few yaers on them will die when ran out of gas. If it doesn't start pull one of the spark plug wires, insert a screwdriver and put it close to the engine. crank the engine and watch for a spark. if there is no spark then replace the crank shaft sensor. before you replace the fuel pump.

Was driving in snowy conditions and all of sudden my van stopped. got it towed to the mechanic, he checked and found nothing wrong. He drove for tqo days and gave it to me. Then I drove for 3 weeks all...

Sounds like you have moisture getting into your ignition somewhere. Have your mechanic look at it again but have him water down engine compartment, little at a time.

2003 kia sedona 3.5l stops running after about 8 minutes, it will crank but not start for a while then problem re occurs

Unplug the plug wire head and put it close to the engine mount. Then have someone to start the car. Check if there is spark on it. If not, it could be your distributor unit is bad (ignition coil, distributor cap and rotor).

It could be the computer, but it could also be the wire. You can check the resistance of that wire, or simply use a known good wire to see if that is what it is.
