If the mirror is cable control a set screw is holding it in at the base of the control lever. If electric the wire are disconnected at the motor inside the mirror which is very hard to remove without breaking the glass

The wire connector is clipped to the inside of the door, just follow the wires from the mirror inside the door you will see it, if you have a wire connector crimping tool u can just cut and splice the new mirror to the old harness, in some cases this is easier, but you must use proper ****-splice connectors and have a wire connector crimper.

Cigareete lighter fuse 2005 Montans SV6 where is it

To access fuse panel you are looking for that holds the lighter fuse open the passenger door and look on the right end of the instrument panel (dash) There is an access panel that just pulls off. Pull it off and there are your fuses.

I need to replace the passenger door exterior mirror. how do I do that?

Should be a plastic panel inside of the mirror mounting...this is usually a pop off panel, but be careful not to damage the clips...There are three 10mm bolts inside of the mirror...(access panel must be removed to see...also you may need to pull out insulation to see these three bolts...electric mirror will have a disconnect plug in...unplug to remove...manual will not have any other connections...plug in new mirror...reconnect 3 10mm mounting bolts...replace insulation...reassemble plastic cover on inside door trim...:)

The rear wiper stopped working. I suspect that

The fuse for the rear wiper is located in the interior fuse panel on the passenger door side of the dash. It is the 3rd one down from the top in the left column (#3) and it is a 15 amp.

You'll have to replace the entire assembly if you're missing the mounting piece that the mirrors sit on inside the housing... You'll need to remove the door panel in order to remove the panel that's right beside the mirror on the inside of the door and remove the 3 bolts holding the mirror down assembly down....

Fuse panel 20005 sv6

Open the passenger front door, look down on the side of dash, there is a panel with a notch in it! It's hard to do, but pull the access panel off, and behind this is the fuse panel. I was looking for the fuse for the doors to fix my key FOB and that's where I found it. Hope that helps! Anthony G.

Replacing side mirror on 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

2005 Pontiac SV6 Montana key fob unlocks doors but will not lock

For the sliding doors you need to clean the contacts, there are 6 or 8 on both sides, just wipe them clean as they are probably covered in oil/grease/grime.

Replacing passenger side mirror

If you are replacing the entire mirror assembly you have to remove the door panel.

First remove the switch plate by prying upward at the rear of the switch plate and unhook the connectors. Then remove the two armrest screws. The door panel then has to be pryed away from the door to release the clips. They don't give up easily so yo may have to force it a bit. Once the clips are loose pull up on the panel to remove it from the window reveal molding. The mirror is held on with three 10mm nuts. remove those and unhook the wiring from in the door. Install is reverse of removal.

Good Luck
