this is your low coolant light. the overflow tank is on the passenger side fender under the hood, and if you look on the side you will see a line that indicated when full. good luck!
Red lights are always a warning of some kind. In this case you don't mention the make or model of car but I'm willing to bet it means the water level is low. Check the coolant level or the washer bottle level.
that is the low coolant warning, these sensors are noted for false readings, so if the coolant is ok then replace the low coolant sensor in the radiator side tank.
Hi... thanks for suggesting some kind of assistance at my cost.. but i know it's a simple answer, i just don't have the manual, otherwise i wouldn't of asked. So, i'll ask a mechanic friend next time i'm out and about.
That light indicates you are low on coolant. Make sure the engine is completly cold and remove your radiator cap, fill to top with new coolant, also fill reserve bottle to cold line.
