How do I access the trouble codes on a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis without a scan tool?

You can access them by going to the link, some late 1995 vehicles were OBD2, then you would have a diagnostic connector under the dash below the steering wheel, otherwise you do it under the hood (OBD1). FORD 1983 1995 OBD1 Decoder

Idle fluctuates severly on 1998 honda civic

This problem can arise due to the following reasons:
- Air leak in the intake manifold.
- Vacuum hose leak.
- Throttle body gasket leak.
- Idle speed control valve stuck open due to the carbon deposits.
- Valve clearance too less.
- Ignition system faulty. (shorted spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition timing too late or too early).
- Fuel injectors faulty.

What is p200a my check engine light is on 2011 kia forte koup

Hi there,

I think the code you are referring to is P0200.

This code means your vehicle computer (PCM) has identified an issue within the Fuel Injector circuit.

Possible causes for P0200 code are:

  • Open or shorted injector
  • Injector low internal resistance (basically an injector that works, but is out of specs)
  • Grounded driver circuit
  • Open driver circuit
  • Driver circuit shorted to voltage
  • Wiring harness intermittently shorting against underhood components

I changed the steering column on my 95 sunfire and will start but due to the anti theft system the fuel injectors are almost instantly making my car die. how do i change or reset passcode on the...

I'm going to assume your Sunfire has the VATS system with the pellet in the key. You need to know the correct resistant of the factory pellet and bypass the system using that value. A quick google search will bring up results in many articles on how to bypass the VATS system, as it's required when installing a remote start system in most late 80s-mid 90s GM vehicles.

My 00 toyota land cruiser is stuck in 4wd the light indicating 4wd is not on , when i move the 4wd gear stick it moves perfect but the jeep is still in 4wd , it could have something to do with to do with...

Yes!! probably the front diff actuator is sticking , the wire that command the disengagement is not making contact properly, or the actuator itself is bad, also if you replace the tires with a size different from the manufactures that can create an engagement problem.

Does a h22 motor just drop in a 91 accord , is there anything i should know

You will need to know if is a h22a or h22a4. The h22a has the kind of fuel injectors that you'll need with your current set up. Also, you'll need the ECU. If you are putting a 95 or newer h22a in the car then you'll need a P13ecu to run the Vtec. You'll also need to run power to the vtec solenoid on the h22. If you're using a 96 or new Prelude engine it will be OBD2, your current wiring is OBD1. Your best bet is to get a 92 thru 95 H22a only.
