Question about 1994 Mitsubishi Mirage
I changed the fuel pump, filter, regulator, computer (ECM) , TPS (Throtle position sensor) Map sensor, spark plugs, rotor, ignition cables, alternator, battery, runs great at high speeds but hesitates, almost dies at idle. The check engine light never goes on (well, at start-up the light checks o.k.)
This 94 model has he connector for the diagnostics tool, I have one BUT cannot read those because almost all readers starts at 1996. (OBD tools)
It sounds to me like the ICM ( Idle control motor )

Testimonial: "I am in the process of this... changing the ICM, I ordered one from Ebay at 100 dollars (cost range from 250 to 350) BUT the gasket was not included."
Youll have to take it to someone whon has an OBD, not OBD2 hook up.
