There is a good possibility that your CV (constant velocity) joints are going bad. Most of the time when you make a turn the joints will make a clicking noise. If if is a thumping noise, it could be a number of things.
Check your brakes and make sure you still have pads left. Also an axle bearing could be going bad.

Engine making loud noise when running I removed the serpentine belt and stop?

Turn all the pulleys by hand. Chances are you will be able to tell if there are bad bearings in cone of the following: Power steering pump, alternator, idler pulley, A/C compressor. The one that is failing will probably feel rough when you turn it or have a lot of play in it.

Squealing noise then tump when turning on heater 03 lincon navigator

Your AC compressor on the engine is the likely problem, either the pump is frozen up or the front bearing is frozen up, don't run the system or the belt will burn and fly off and strands you. Get this taken care of right away before winter. Have a local shop listen to the noise to confirm my guess as to the cause.

2004 Honda Element: The passenger side window won't stay up!

the motor running gear has come off the bottom of the glass, quite common.you may be able to buy the little clips that go on the glass seperately if they are broken or you may have to buy the whole assembly.easiest thing to do at the moment is to take off the door trim and jam a piece of wood under the glass once you have raised it closed. hope this helps

2006 Honda Element EXP - 40K miles

I have a 2006 Honda Element as well, and mine started making "rubbing" noises when I made a slow hard turn left or right. It had 49K on it. Took it to a dealership and had it looked at. The technician knew what it was right off the bat. The rear differential needed to be serviced. Said the fluid had broken down and needed replacing. $79.00 to fix. CRV have the same problem. Just get it serviced and it should be ok.
