Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Im looking at buying a 1993 jeep cheroke 4x4 automatic. The truck was owned by a trany shop they rebuilt the trany , front and rear difs, and transfer case but have a part left over its a computer part and they say that the trany wont shift on its own due to this. Yuo have to shift it from first to 2nd, 3rd Od and its fine like that. My question is is this posible and if so what part is this and where would it go.
Sorry i cant give a better discription about it as i have not seen it or the extra part. The guy says its a small computer part with a plug-in on it and they just dont know whaere it gos
I would leave this jeep alone. There are others for sale that wont require extensive and expensive repairs such as this!!!!!
