Question about 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan
The number one reason a carvan will throw an evap code is you most likely have a crack in the evap hoses located under the car below the driver area. Look for the rectangular black box. You will see 2 or 3 half inch hoses coming from it. They usually crack at the elbow or right after where the clamps are. You will see stress cracks on it.

Do you know what the actual code is?
If its an evap code the most common problem is the gas cap. There could also be a pinhole in the lines somewhere. If you smell gas when the vehicle isn't running, you should get it fixed ASAP. The best and easiest way it to find somebody with a fogging machine. You may not see a puddle of gas under your vehicle. It depends on where the hole is. If it is one the filler hose it will register as the cap is loose and will trip the code.
hope this helps.
