I wa driving to work and when i left the parking lot while i was accelerating the ses light started flahing and now the car is running rough. what can it be

It can be a number of things. The way to find out what is to hook a code reader or scanner to it and find out what code(s) are in the PCM. Until that is done, anythig else would just be guess work.

I need to know the torque specs for the head gasket for a 96 3.8 chevy camaro

Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) in sequence.

Use a torque angle meter to rotate each cylinder head bolt 120 degrees in sequence.

Use a torque angle meter to rotate the four center cylinder head bolts an additional 30 degrees in sequence...

I hope this helps.

The security system light comes on then the car will not start. Also when car is parked for a long period of time something drains the battery dead as well.

There is a detailed write-up here: http://vatspasskey.com . I have a 94 Park Avenue and this was the only way to save it. Talked with that guy a lot and I remember he said tons of Camaro's were on his list.
