What is a tbc fault on a 2006 ford f350 6.0 powerstroke
That is your trailer brake controller that is built into your dash. If you are hooked up to a trailer it could mean you are losing your connection or ground to the trailer. If you are not connected to a trailer it means there is a problem with your brake controller possibly a short in the wiring caising the fault code.
Bad Fues caused problim. TBC Fault 2006 Ford 350 4x4 King Ranch. To correct ths problim I checked the Trailer connection all looked ok, no corrosion, no moisture no dirt. Checked all connections for power to lights, all ok
Checked fuses this is where I found the problim. I checked all fused that had anything to do with trailer braking, or trailer towing. There are many. Check your owners manual for fuse box location and information. Ford F 350 2006 was under steering colum. The fuse that caused the problim was the charging trailor Battery fuse. this fuse allowes a battry on the trailer to be charged in case there is a brakeaway of the trailer from truck the brakes on the trailer will lock up. If any of the fuses that have anything to do with trailer towing is bad this will give a TBC Fault.
HOpe this helps.
