Question about 1999 Volkswagen Passat
I need to find out if there are any easy fixes or just how hard it is to repair the heater core? I can't find a manual anywhere.
The heater core inlet and outlet com out of the fire wall on the drives side of the battery after the car cools you can connect a garden hose to one side an and another hose to the other side and flush it out. the hoses have a corragated plastic cover over them that is split in the back it should just pull off, the hoses are connected with pressure clamps squeeze them and pull them down then pull hoses off. flush the system both ways good luck
