Hopefully i will get this right lol...in the engine bay near the bulkhead (windscrean end) look for a red caped object looks like a rubber button this also could be black, but they do the same job, press this in and get the fuel flowing again, hope that is what you are needing it for?...

There is a fuel pump cutout switch that trips if it receives to much shock such as a hard bump or accident. It has a yellow handle located in the trunk, pull it and it should reset.

Where is the fuel line for a 93 ford probe gt? and is the fuel pump in the fuel tank. and why is my fuel cutout light on?

The fuel lines run from the fuel pump (which is in the tank) under the car to the to the fuel rail in the top of the engine. The fuel cutoff light means that the inertia switch has been triggered. It is a black box with a red button located in the hatch area.

My car wont get fuel to the throttle body

Questions for you. Is the fuel pump working? When you turn the key(just not enough to turn the starter), do you hear the fuel pump? Should be like a buzzing noise for about 10 to 15 seconds. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? They do get clogged and will halt the flow of fuel. That's all I can say with what you typed.

yes there is fuel cutout switch in case you roll over or hit really hard to prevent fire. but your fuel pump probably died , unfortunately it is located inside the gas tank.

1994 Probe: wont start dash says fuel cutout...

There is a fuel cutout switch located in the trunk. It is often referred to as the inertial fuel cut, as it is designed to trigger in an accident. Sometimes it can trigger at other times, like moving things around in the trunk or a particularly violent pothole etc.

It is located on the wall of the spare tire well, in the bottom of the trunk, and should have a user-operated button or switch on the outside of the housing. Resetting this should fix your problem.

I have a 92 Mercury Sable. I need to know if there is a fuse that I can pull so it will not start, without causing any damage, so someone will quit taking it to the bar. I do pull the key but found out...

If you can locate the owners manual, there is a fuse for the fuel pump. It may also share the circuit with other things like the radio. The Sables have a convenient swing down fuse box which is around the drivers left side under the dash.

There is also a Inertia switch which should be in the trunk. When it senses an impact it disconnects the fuelpump and has a reset button on top. It is usually on the drivers side of the trunk behind a cutout in the carpet. Just how hard to hit it and to reliably do it everytime I cannot tell you.

94 Ford Probe GT Fuel Cutout problem

VERY Probable! You need to get that Probe to a Mechanic and have it Diagnosed. You can also Purchase a Diagnostic tool for the Computer at Any Good Auto Parts Store and Try this yourself! This is Most Definitally a Computer Error Code Problem.
