Hi, I'm having a problem with my 2002 A4. The alarm, inside lights, and windows aren't working. Any ideas as to what may be the problem?

Thanks for the tip, I have been in the fuse box, doesn't seem like it is the problem. With more research it looks like it may be the "Convenience Module". Any Comments?

Silly question but have you checked the fuses in the fuse box? or the relays in the fuse box? try tapping them ( the relays not the fuses) sometimes they work loose or the internal switches stick..just a quick one, if this does not work type back

it could be that, aparently they suffer from water in and arround the area of the convenience control box First thing to do is lift the carpet and underlay in the passenger front footwell. then remove the plastic trims to make it easier.Locate a black plastic box and open it up to inspect the c/d/lock window control module. You may find it has water in it along with the wiring that runs along the floor to the n/s/f door pillar.Worth a look i suppose...hope that is a bit better for you

99 audi a4...key fob wont work (assuming the battery needs to be replaced) but windows only work after i turn the interior lights on in different patterns, alarm goes off while driving and doors lock and...

usually strange electrical problems like this turn out to be related through a bad ground somewhere - hope that helps a little - the battery in the fob will not cause these issues - good luck and have a nice day :O)

Audi A4 2.4Cab 2002. Alarm, C/Locking, Boot lock U/S

Likely water damage to the central comfort control module, which is (stupidly) located under the carpet. Run a VCDS (RossTech) scan to verify this.
