If its a stick you may have a problem with the clutch safety switch. They don't want you starting the jeep without the clutch in. If the safety switch has failed it may think the clutch is still released. Also make sure the battery terminals are clean. If your lights don't shine bright you need to start looking for a connection issue to the battery if you know the battery is good.

2006 jeep rubicon starting problems. All I get is clicks?

Hi, first thing to check is your battery voltage. Use a digital multimenter, or take it to a parts store or wal mart for free testing (can be done while in the car, see if a jump start gets you going.) If low/no voltage, I would say it is a dead battery. After you get it going, check the voltage at your battery with the engine running. It should be between 13.2 - 14 volts DC if not, your alternator could be bad causing the battery drain. Mike Please remember to rate this answer! thanks!

Need info on installing new radiatior on Jeep rubiocon 2006 can not get 2 small tubes on the bottom of radiator off without cutting. I know there should be a way to remove them w/o cutting. thanks ...

You never have to cut anything. Common sense
If your referring to the Trans Cooler Lines, you need flair nut wrenches or cooler line release tool, avail at parts store

Dosn't turn over

First, verify the actual voltage at the battery with a voltmeter. Second, make sure terminal connections are clean and secure at both terminals and the other ends of the battery cables as well. Also find the source of the noise you hear...If it's coming from a relay, find out which one now, before it completely fails and is more dificult to locate. (do not change it till you verify all connections are good and actual voltage is good.
There are a few more tests you can do but do these first.

That's not a remote starter on your key chain, it's a keyless entry for an alarm system.

I am Having the same problem with a 2005 wrangler rubicon unlimited and when I step on the brake some dash lights come on including one with a circle slash over a key on the top left of the dash! I called the dealer and they told me to bring it in because the Vallet computer lost its memory code, I think its strange since I do not have an alarm
