Question about 1996 Volkswagen Golf
Hi when you go under the dash and look up to the brakepedal, you will see a switch, maybe you have to remove one piece of cover under dash, witch detect the pedal moving and switches on the brakelights. when you connect the two wires an the lights come up, all system is ok. correct or replace the switch. good luck.
