Question about 2008 BMW 528i Sedan
I have a e39 2.8I bmw 1998, the problem is that the car overheats after 1 mile i have replaced the thermostat and water pump, is there anything else that needs doing or could the problem be gaskets or maybe even a split cylinder. Also the hearter does not workm would this effect the overheating?
If it over heats in one mile the exhaust is probably plugged up bad converter look under se if it is red when it gets hot dont run will blow head gaskets and poss damage to the motor

The problem is air in the head that keeps fluid from cooling the head, and, prevents hot fluid to go to the cabin heater. The air is due to low fluid or, sign of cracked head, combustion gas getting into radiator. If cracked head, indicator is radiator pressurizes in morning even before fluid is very hot.
