Why wont my car start ? battery great acts like a fuse problem

A fuse problem , that's a good one . Won't start how ? When you kurn the key to the start position , what happens ? Does the stater engage the flywheel and spin the engine over , but vehicle doesn't start an run ? This is called a crank - no start condition . Or when you turn the key to start nothing happens ? Which is the problem your having ? Two totally different diagnostic procedures !

Battery indicator light comes on above idle RPM, gauges start fluctuating.

The first thing you need to know is what the alternator output is when this starts happening.
It could be a faulty connection in the wiring harness, or a bad ground connection, or a failing alternator.

My car just started acting up just last week, when i go to start up my car in the mourning it acts like its dead its a very slow start up, i'll let it warm up and i drive it down the street when i come to...

I somewhat had a problem similar to this I would suggest checking your coolant temperature sensor, its in the engine manifold, I have a 98 it was really easy to do, its like a 14 dollar piece, and what will happen over time the OEM sensor they have will crack, causing your computer to read that it is actually a lot colder than what it is and run a richer mixture causing your car to stall out when slowing down.

I have a 2003 CR-V. Tonight I left the lights on and it drained the battery. The battery is only a couple months new, so with a quick jump, it started immediately and ran, seemingly with no problems.......

your battery may not be fully charged yet with the quick jump. let it run for a bit with no lights or accesories, no a\c or heat. everything is run off the computer and it need to be fully charged.

The first thing that I would check is the weight of oil in the engine crankcase. If you put the wrong weight oil in the engine, you can expect your Prius to do bizaare things. What is printed on the oil fill cap is the ONLY oil that will work properly. If you do have the wrong weight oil, it will puddle in the intake manifold, under the throttle body, You will have to remove the air intake hose and manually open the throttle plate to see the oil puddle. This is an unfortunatly common occurance.
