You've got to take the door panel off and check out what's going on inside there. there are bolts that hold the bottom of the wondow. chances are it's just a loose bolt.

I have a 4 door 1999 honda civic . the windows are opperated by crank instead of automatic . first i believe it came off track , so we pulled up the window till i could get it fixed . that night the window...

A new pane of glass would cost around 60-80 dollars. If you take the car to a shop you could get charged another 50-100 depending on their cost per hour. You can easily take care of the matter yourself however as it is an easy fix.

2003 honda civic driver side window fall down

I am guessing you have power windows. Happens to mine sometimes.
Slam the door a couple to few times, see if that doesn't put the window back on "track". I mentioned this to the dealership a while back and they were going to charge about $90 to pop off the interior part of the door and put it back on track. They said it "builds up dirt".
I actually also toggle the window switch a few times to see if it will move slightly and then do my door slam thing a couple to few times. I seem to get this problem when it rains.
I hope it helps.

Model=CIVIC SIR. drivers electric window only goes up 1/2 way

your window has likely jumped its track......you will need to remove the door panel and inspect it further. you will find this procedure here. If it has jumped the track you should be able to get it back on with the door panel removed.
Hope this helps!

Window off Track 2000 honda civic

My 2000 Honda has done it about 5 times. You can fix it fairly easy at home but unfortunately it will keep occuring until you replace the whole lifting system which is expensive! First you have to take out the screws that holds the speaker on, and 1 on the handle and 1 where you pull the door shut. Then unplug the wiring for the speaker, auto window and door locks, pop the door panel off. There are 2 bolts on the bottom of each end of the door. They hold the bracket that holds the track. Loosen whichever side is out of track (you may have to do both) and work it back in. You also may have to run the window up and down to help it back in. Hope this helps dude!
