Yes it sure sounds like it could be.....the cat probably heated up way to much due to a bad fuel mixture

Changing injectors is never a way to go to reduce fuel flow. the injector will only spray as much fuel as the computer tells it too. The controls for the LP were probably not installed properly or not adjusted correctly.

And you may have had a marginally bad convertor to begin with before the conversion, and a bad conversion made it worse.

Hi Audi Experts, how can i solve P2195 and P2099 codes on my Audi Q7 3.0tdi?

code p 2195 refers to heated oxygen sensor(HO2S) 1 bank 1--signal stuck lean===causes --HO2S---fuel pressure --injectors---intake leak
also --HO2S 1 bank 1 implausible signal====causes ---wiring---short to positive ---short to ground ---HO2S--- ECM for that code I would be replacing the HO2S and checking the intercooler for a split to loose boost pressure
code p 2099 refers to post cat converter fuel trim bank 2 --too rich====causes ---cat converter
it also refers to engine coolant temp sensor (ECT)--circuit malfunction===causes wiring---ECT sensor

I have a 2010 Buick Lacrosse that had the P0420 code. Replaced the Bank One Cat and the code and the check engine light came on again with the same code.

Did they use an original equipment cat from the dealer or an aftermarket one? Aftermarket cats can cause more problems than they fix. There very few that I will personally install.

are they monitoring downstream O2 sensor data to see if the O2 sensor may be biased high? If the cat is doing its job the downstream O2 sensors will read a lower voltage. Tricking the vehicle into running rich or lean will cause this voltage to change ( unplugging a coil will cause the Downstream O2 to read high as the cat tries to burn off the extra fuel. Unplugging a fuel injector will cause the downstream O2 sensor to read low as extra air is being pushed thought the cats). Making sure the downstream O2 sensors are capable of switching should be part of the diagnostics.

Are you sure they replace the right cat? There are 5 different engine options for this car. If you let me know what engine you have I can let you know what bank is bank 1.

Hey I'm mike. Here want going on my s10 blazer

to start with the in front of the cat is different to the one after the cat and will produce different signals for the ecm and that will throw up fault codes

Code p0154 refers to heated oxygen sensor(HO2S) 1 bank 2--no activity detected--===causes --Wiring--HO2S-- ECM

replace with correct sensor (heated sensor )

code p0300 refers to random/ multiple misfires detected---===causes---spark plugs--HT leads --injectors---ignition coil/s---low compression---wiring

The HT lead should be replaced as by pulling it off the plug the internal resistance has been damaged. Check the injectors are firing correctly as my guess is that the injector is faulty and that is what set you to change the HO2S sensor

LPG switch not lit up on bmwx5

This happens is generally caused by valve on the inlet manifold, which, is electrically operated such that it only allows the gas in, but it is also vacuum sensitive so a perished rubber pipe could cause it not to sense the vacuum. This is not possible to fix at home garage because the valve requires replacement, hence my.best advice without seeing it is to visit a mechanic that is conversant with LPG conversion.

If they are willing to replace others for free go ahead, Just make sure the take the time to reset your ECM. , After you get it back may go and get you some high octane gas not regular. It sounds to me you have gott'en some bad gas somewhere, Good luck.

Bad catalyc converter! audi s4 b6

Sounds like **** to me. Did they do a compression test to determine this? Cat Converter can't cause a misfire on one cylinder. It is more likely a plug, coil, or fuel injector. Get a second opinion!
