I have a 2005 gmc envoy xuv, my cooling fan clutch not coming on.

Sounds like you are talking about the AC compressor clutch(???). It is controlled by a high pressure switch on the condenser which may be faulty (stuck open).

You may lose the Bose amp too. That would be no sound from the speakers too. I don't think they will exchange.

Is it a transmission or coil or fan clutch problem?

the fan clutch only runs the fan when the coolant temperature gets hot and has nothing to do with the gear box.. I suspect that the noise is from a faulty front input shaft bearing in the gear box or as I read it a faulty torque converter if it is an automatic. I think that you should go to an accredited service centre for a proper diagnosis before it breaks your bank as from what I am reading , the mechanics you have been going to do not have sufficient knowledge to fix your fault

Starting my 2003 Envoy I sometimes have to pump the gas several times before it starts? then a plume of black smoke comes out of the tailpipe? WTH is wrong

The fan clutch is not causing your starting problem. You need to find a good mechanic who knows how to diagnose problems using a high-end scan tool and is familiar with GMC and Chevy products. And don't let someone just make guesses and change parts left and right.

Ac unit is not working properly just replaced the compressor the dryer and the orfice and it blows cold one minute and then the unit gets hot and dies the motor down.. What could be causing this? the unit...

I would make sure that the electric fan clutch is coming on. Sounds like the a/c compressor may be building up high head pressure and the fan clutch is not drawing air through the condensor to cool it down.

2004 gmc envoy engine tapping sound, it has plenty of water/antifreeze, and plenty of oil.

We have the same tapping sound on our 2003 Envoy six cylinder engine. I believe the sound is coming from the radiator fan clutch assembly. When the engine reaches its operating temperature and the fan clutch engages, the tapping sound goes away.

It is in the front of the engine with the fan mounted to it. It is electronicly controled. If you change it be very careful the radiator is easy to damage. Good Luck

Blower doesn't work at high speed

you will need to replace the fans blower resistor. its mounted in the cab. in the lower right side of the heater box. some aftermarket suppliers are carrying the part but all chevy or gmc dealers will have it.
good luck chris
