Question about 1999 Chrysler Concorde
Check engine light goes on and than within 12 hours goes off, happened a second time and when warming up the car in cold weather sometimes the RPMS will go up and down and the lights will dim like it is about to die.
The check engine light would need a fault code reader to tell you what system has a malfunction, then you can remedy the problem. As for the RPM lights issue, it sounds like either there is a problem with the connections at the battery or alternator or that the alternator belt is too loose/ or the alternator is faulty. Is there a noise from the alternator ?. You can only check the connections i mentioned, other than that you should take the car to a mechanic/auto electician to check. Hope that helps
