Could be fuel pump, alternator, spark plug could be bad or filed, or possible bad or low powered cell in battery, it could also have jumped time stalling can be many options or problems but these are the most likely.

Check the ignition confirmation signal (IGF) on igniter number 1 and pin number 2 during cranking. Look carefully if any wire is broken at any of the igniters 1,2,3 or 4.

Hello, I have a 2004 pontiac grandam and it's a 4 cylinder and the security light has been on for over 2 weeks steady, but my car has been starting, but last nite while starting it stalled alittle and


If the security light is on, it can only be one thing. This light indicates a failure in the antitheft system that will eventually lead to your car refusing to start or continue running. Here is a link with alot of info, plus ways to beat this problem.

Sounds like the choke needs to be turned down slightly and the idle turned up?

Check the timing chain which is located front of motor It maybe be at its last journey before you get strand somewhere.

I had the same problem. It was the fuel regulator that was bad in my 99 Regal. Hope this helps.

Auto start will start car then turn car off 3 or 4 sec later.


on most remote start application a wire is installed in motor with one wire on the fuel injectors that wire reads rpm if its to high it stalls if to low stall so check wire get back to me

The coolant level sensor has failed. Sensors seem to be more prone to **** out than the systems they monitor.
