This is 100% the Blower Motor Resistor located adjacent to the Blower Motor. Take your Dash Glove Box out to access. It is mounted on/into the fire wall. It should be approximately 3 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches. Mounted with two (2) 8mm metal screws/bolts. Unplug the electrical connections, unbolt and remove.
I have repaired several dozen including my own.
Purchase the Resistor at an auto parts store versus a dealer to save you alot of money.
Let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions. Feel free to contact me at!

on the 2000 SE, there are no screws. The assembly 'snaps' into the rectangular hole, and the only way to get it off - is to YANK it off!
It IS located like on the passenger side under the hood, next to the strut tower on the back wall. It is a tan gray phenolic block with a black connector. Grab a hold of the edges and pry it off. There is no nice way of doing it!

Heater on 2010 dodge grand caravan made a clicking noise by passenger side glove box then heater quit working

Remove your glove box , behind it is a large resistor that allows the heater to have a low /med / high output...that resistor is a common problem. It blows!! Get a new one at dealer..runs about $30... Easy to change yourself

Heater / a.c fan switch is only working at high speed

power reducer is burned out, usually located on the back of engine compartment small plate with 2 screws or small bolts and the heater fan wires go from this to the fan

Removal of heater fan switch on dash.

Chances are it is in fact not the switch. These systems are wired so that at high speed setting battery power is connected directly to the fan. However lower settings switches through a set of resistors. These are mounted on a circuit board which in your case is mounted on the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle under the wiper. Check this before you turn the control panel into a heap of spares on the garage floor.

2001 dodge ram 1500, blower on heater only works on high, is it the switch or what?

the blower resistor is the most likely reason.. for that truck you may also find that its melted and will require the pigtail for the resistor as well

2002 dodge grand caravan heater blower only works on high spped

If you are looking for the fan blower resistor, it is located behind the glove box. No tools need to get to it and a nut driver to remove the 2 screws to replace it. A 20$ part.
