Using coolant, but no leakage detectible?

Remove the OIL FILLER CAP- is there a white pastr under the cap itself ? If there is, you have antifreeze mixing with your oil. Causes can be a cracked block, bad head gasket, warped head ALSO check the end of the tail pipe for a white powder, same diagnoses.

1990 toyota pickup is running hot and when i shut

Try with the small stuff first. Replace the thermostat. Before you do that, you should flush and refill your system with just water after the flush process. The bottle of solution that you put into your radiator to flush it and clean it has instructions, follow those. Then let the car cool down and drain the system and refill it with fresh water only. Run this water for a bit and then do it once more. Once cooled back down , replace thermostat and replace the 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water.
Check engine oil level as well, low oil will overheat engines quickly.

Radiator had a small leak now i found water and oil mixed on the dip stick

Sounds like you may have a blown head gasket, compression from the cylinder where the head gasket has blown is getting into the cooling system, excessively pressurizing the cooling system, causing the radiator to leak.

Why my car toyota hilux 2l is overheating

it could be the ff.
1. radiator is clogged
2. no coolant
3. cooling fan is not working fine
4. thermostat valve is stuck up
5. water pump is damaged
6. radiator cap is broken
7. coolant is leaking somewhere
8. the worst is broken cylinder head gasket but broken head gasket always leaves a trace like water is draining w/o a drip or oil is mixing up with your coolant inside reservoir. try eliminating the easy things before deciding to have the cylinder head removed.

I'm losing water out of my radiator but i can't see that it is leaking any where. I'm not sure where the water pump is. For some reason, the water seems to leak out of the over flow when it is hot.

check your radiator cap condition if its ok then your engine must be having a cylinder head gasket problem, normally when engine overheats the cylinder head gasket gets fried-up and the water goes off to the exhaust along with the exhaust gas thats why u dont see any trace of leakage on the floor/ check your engine oil as well if oil and water mix together to conclude the theory.

Water/oil mixing in 22r engine

yes it can mix, also check the timing cover for rubs from the timing chain. this is the common problem with 22r. many mechanics will tell you its the block but they are just trying to make money.
