Question about 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Coupe
Look for the IAT sensor at the radiator and trace the wiring back to the plug. (lower left side of radiator.)
SHOULD be red with blue stripe and black - but trace to double check.
this is for the 4cyl.
P.S. - if this is a "chip" that tricks the computer into thinking the engine is warmer than it really is to give a run rich condition - you are asking for trouble. Eventually the computer compensates and re-callibrates itself. (usually after 5 warm/cold runs)
do you know what that will do for performance? nothing. why? its called physics. cool air can be compressed more than warm air. compressing the air can allow you to add more air, therefore giving you more HP(remember oxygen = power?). This is what these manufacturers want you to think about. however, telling the engine that the air is cooler does nothing BECAUSE THE AIR ISN'T COOLER. you can't just say the air is cooler and have it compressed like cool air. it has to ACTUALLY BE COOLER. taking warm air and saying its cooler doesn't mean that is it going to be able to be compressed more.
