Your coolant resevoir is low. It has a sensor that tells you when to add fluid.

Why is the low coolant light flashing?

The low coolant light is operated by a level sensor located in the coolant reservoir itself. If the low coolant light is on and the coolant level is full then wither the sensor is unplugged or the sensor is bad.

Need to fill coolant reservoir every day with antifreeze, check engine light on & flashing

The flashing light means there is a problem with the engine serious enough to damage the catalytic converter. You should get the computer scanned for trouble codes.
If there are no external coolant leaks, the engine is probably burning the coolant thru the cylinders and out the tail pipe. Which could also be causing the flashing light.

Obviously it's temperature gauge light. Check for coolant level first. Then check for coolant leak. If coolant is leaking out of your car, the lower coolant levels in your engine will cause it to overheat. If you have your heater on and it starts blowing hot air instead of cool, your engine is low on coolant. This will cause to flash a warning light on your car's dashboard.

Check engine is flashing. Checked water level and found it very low. Added water but no coolant. Still flashing. Will lack of coolant cause Check Engine light to flash ?

No. a flashing check engine light means that there is a serious possibility that the catalytic converter is in danger of getting damaged. If you are losing coolant (and i am guessing that your engine is overheating) you most likely have a blown head gasket or a cracked cylinder head. And because of that you are getting a large quantity of coolant on the exhaust system, which can ultimately damage the catalytic converter.

Blue coolant light comes back on and flashes? why

The light should be for a low level sensor in your coolant reservoir. Check your coolant level (when vehicle is cold), if fluid level is ok then the sensor is probably the culprit.

97 saturn sl2 temp light flashing and low coolant light flashing what could be the problem ? coolant is full and the heat works.

If the temp gauge is reading normal, the lights are flashing, and the coolant level is full, the level sensor in the coolant bottle is the problem. I'm a service consultant for a Saturn dealer and I've run across this many times.
