Did you determine the cause of your battery going dead in the first place? Did you hook the cables to your battery correctly? What is happening in your car now?

Several things might have happened. I can only speculate from the limited information you gave. You could have had a short under the dash which caused the battery to discharge in the first place. You could have hooked the booster cables up backwards. If you will post additional comments, I will try to help you further. Out of curiousity, have you recently installed a new stereo system or amplifier?

Is there a relay for fuel pump or fuse is so were is it located?

Most vehicles have a fuse and a fuel pump relay. The relay should be in the fuse/relay block under the hood, maybe called the Power Distribution Box or Center. Look for a cover over it with labeling of locations on the underside of the cover.

The fuse for the pump circuit is often there, too, although sometimes the fuse will be in the fuse panel below the dash. And GM cars often had another fuse panel in or under the glove box.

This would all be found in the owner's manual.

I have a 87 Chevy silverado when I turn the key over it clicks then smoke comes from under the dash on the passenger side is it a problem with starter

No....You have something else going on here and I don't know where to start exactly. You will have to have someone else observe where the smoke is coming from but it should low voltage. I would have a pro look at this one.

I have a 2000 Jetta VR6. I was idling in a parking lot, when my a/c switched off, climate control panel blanked out, and my "Handbrake is on" light popped on. AC hasn't worked since, control panel is...

It sounds like the common ground connection for the control panel is electrically broken.
Since the ground path is broken, electrical current back feeds through other things on the control board causing it act like it lost it's mind.

Usually caused by corrosion of the circuit by moisture due to AC condensate collecting in ducts under dash. There is a drain for this and they often plug up causing problems in cabin area. Check this too while you're at it.
If you can get a wiring diagram or schematic, try to jumper out the the grounding circuit with another electrical test cable with small alligator clips on either end.

If problem abates, that's the issue and just add additional wire around the corroded circuit one, which would be very difficult to repair.

99 Buick park ave ultra. Radio and gas gauge not working

the fuse block is under the dash on the left side just to the right of your emergency brake. you might have to take some plastic off to get to it. I know your key part of the switch is in the steering column but the actual ignition switch is under the dash on top of the steering column . There is a rod that runs from the key part to the switch. But anyway check there and let me know.
