Question about 1997 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
Check to see if the timing chain broke, take out the spark plugs and do a compression test. You can turn it over with the starter and hear and feel the compression coming out of the spark plug holes instead of using a compression gauge. That should tell you if the chain broke.
Or you can lift the rocker cover to see if the rockers move when you turn it over.
