1991 Chevy Lumina Euro 3.1liter will not start - no spark. Solution?

Mileage is about 100,000. There is no spark from any of the three coils. It is fuel injected, and a slight gas odor is smelled by the tail pipe (so it evidently is getting fuel, but no spark). Can the ignition module and/or the crank sensor be tested?

You were correct - it was the ignition module. Thanks!

This could be caused by a number of factors; Ignition coil, ignition module and/or defective plug wires. How many miles are on the vehicle???

Are you getting any engine codes or engine light on??? There may be a delay in my responding to your answer. If no codes or engine light, replace the ignition module.

three thing make an engine run---air---fuel---spark any one of these are missing---engine will not run---if you have a timing belt, it may have give up the ghost but you need to check these things out to determine the issue---no magic wand here just facts---GL

Hi, you probably have a bad spark pack. If I remember correctly, there is a spark pack for two spark plugs so three total.

Check that you're getting spark to your plugs and fuel to your injectors. If so, my first guess would be to check your timing belt.
