How do I bypass the passkeylock on a 1996 Chevy 1500

The best thing is to fix it properly. There is info all over the web about bypassing the pellet in the key. They use proper resister with a jumper wire across the proper wires, under the dash. It just bypasses the pellet in the key and some wiring in the steering column. If problem is somewhere else in the security system, using that bypass won't work.

There may be some aftermarket remote start systems that may bypass everything, I don't know?
I need vehicle model and engine size, I couldn't find security wiring diagram?

Were is my security system located at in my 2004 Mitsubishi Galant

It is integrated in your entire electrical system of your vehicle. the only way to bypass is to get an aftermarket alarm with a bypass module which will require an additional ignition key (which is inserted into the bypass module).

1992 buick leasable security light will not go off and car will run for few minutes. Changed the ignition switch and car will still cut off after few minutes

Try doing a bypass of the security system, this will only work if the antitheft module is working, it bypasses the sensor in the steering column. You did get the correct key for this right? I was in the gym slammed the weight on my keys to an oldsmobile aurora 2001 i think i broke the chip in the key can i still reset my security light cause my car wont start now it keep saying security...

First off, sorry that happened. That key can run anywhere from 75 to 150 bucks. There are ways to bypass this system so that you can use any key. Its probably good to just bypass it anyway so that it doesnt end up failing on you down the road. These system are expensive and out dated. Here is a link to understand how the system works and ways to bypass this yourself.

How do i bypass the security on my chevrolet s10 so that it will crank

YOU CAN CRANK VECHICLE BY PUTTING KEY IN THE IGNITION SWITCH IN ON POSITION FOR 10 MINUTES UNTIL SECURITY LIGHT TURN ITSELF OFF.THEN TURN OFF IGNITION SWITCH FOR 5 SECONDS THEN START ENGINE.YOU CANT BYPASS THE THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM BECAUSE ITS A FEATURE THAT CAME WITH TRUCK.THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM IS CONTROL BY BCM AND PCM. IF YOUR IGNITION KEYS AND SWITCH IS FAULTY ALSO THE BCM THEY ALL HAVE TO BE REPLACED AT DEALERSHIP AND REPROGRAMMED CANT BYPASS SYSTEM YOU HAVE TO GET IT FIXED.
