Its a resister or called the high -low switch which is screwed on the blower housing under the hood right next to the blower motor with about 4 wires going to it,its about a $15.00 part

1985 ford f-150 blower motor works on one speed, I suspect the block resistor, wanted a second opinion.

Could be the block resisitor, could also be the main switch on the dash, or the relay switch. In order to pinpoint the culprit, best to test them.

Heater dont work

The blower motor resistor could be the problem. It is located on most cars near the blower motor or on the motor itself. But yes check the fuse or relay first.

2003 Ford F150 Heater fan problem

The problem is the Blower Motor Resistor Pack is defective. Purchase the Pack so you will know what you are looking for. It can be located in a few locations. It can be behind the glove box, behind the kick panel on the passenger side, or next to the blower motor. I am almost certain yours is located behind the glove box but not 100% sure. Hope this helps you.

F150 1997 ford heater fan only blows on hight

Plan on finding a melted blower motor resistor. Usually when the blower goes single speed, the blower motor resistor is the cause.

You can find it on the passenger side, looking up behind the dash / Glove box area.
In this picture the passenger side kick panel ( where the inertia fuel switch is at ) is on the right hand side of the picture.

This is what it might look like when you get it out :

The blower motor only has the 1 fuse and blower motor relay on it. If it works on high, those are OK..

Parts should be less than 75.00 total from a dealer, and it is a metric socket and lay on your back on the passenger side floor repair, real easy and quick.

Location of relay

the heater blower does not have a specific relay. You need to replace the resistor located near the blower under the dash. It has a plug and a couple of screws.it may be a little difficult to get to .
