could be the connection at the blower motor. inspect the contacts and post your findings. the blower motor may be going bad (high resistance) this may burn up the terminals at the connection or inside the motor itself
You may have bad bearings in the blower motor. When the car turns, inertia moves the armature to where is not binding momentarily. If so, replace the blower motor. Ask parts store for a remanufactured unit. Dorman makes good aftermarket parts.
REMOVE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR AND HOT WIRE IT.IF HEATER BLOWER MOTOR WORKS WHEN HOT WIRED EITHER BLOWER RELAY BAD OR AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH NOT WORKING.IF BLOWER DONT WORK WHEN HOT WIRED BLOWER MOTOR IS BAD.
how do i fix my ac/ heater they both wont work not even defrost it use to work only on selection number 5 now it dont work at all we just put a new blower in it today and it still wont come on
Ok, first off, check the fuses under the dash. If they're all good, does the blower work only on high speed? If yes, then you have a bad blower motor resistor, which is located under the hood, near the blower motor itself. If the motor doesnt work at all at any fan speed, make sure the wiring harness that plugs into the motor under the hood is clean and tightly installed. If it still doesnt operate, sometimes tapping on the blower motor housing will kick it on, but if that doesnt work, you may have to replace the blower motor. They are available aftermarket, and arent usually too expensive.
Ive ran across this many times its usually the blower motor but I found that if I replace the blower and the replacement plug(thru GM)that the vehicles never had a blower issue again,so order up a motor and plug and be sure to solder the new plug dont use crimp fittings.have a good day DB
could possibly be control head for heater/ac system. lots of gm vehicles have this problem.sounds like a loose connection, look under the dash on the right side near blower motor to check wires to blower motor
