Question about 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe
I've been driving with under sized tires and noticed, first of course the speedometer was 5 mph slower than the actual speed. Then recently the speedometer started sticking during acceleration. Now the speedometer doesn't work at all (at 80mph it shows 20mph or nothing at all). Where can i find the speedometer sensor?
There was not a recall, but there was a class action settlement where GM agreed to extend the warranty on certain vehicles for this problem. Check www.gmspeedometerrecall.com to see if you qualify.

It is probably the speedometer. Check on ebay for a guy from Winona, MN. who repairs these. He does a great job.
