1996 f150 2 wheel drive standard with a 302 and ac heater not blowing hot air motor appears to heat up runs at r on normal gauge

It may be a stopped up heater core. Just like your radiator on the front of the engine, there is a "radiator" in the heater. If water isn't able to circulate through it, there is no heat.

I have a 1987 ford f-150 with a 302. I would like to put the 302 into a 1989 ford f-150 that is four wheel drive that currently has a 4.9 in it. would there be any problems with doing this.

302 is a 5.0L v8 engine and 4.9 is a 300ci, 6 cylinder. so you may have problem with transmission, exhaust manifold, motor mounts, vacuum lines/hose, radiator, power steering pump, a/c system, and mostly wirings. not to mention there is a computer in those trucks!

I want to change my 4.9 6 cyl to a 302 v8 1990 150 ford

A donor truck is a good idea, but the transmission, bell housing, cross members and transmission mounts will all be the same as long as you dont go from manual to auto or opposite. motor mounts will be different tho. i put a manual trans off of a 94 F-150 with a 300 6-cyl into my 91 bronco with a 351 V8 (5.8L) and used all the mounts and crossmembers off of the 94. only thing is the petal assm was different due to body changes. and the 5.8L also has a 11" clutch **** and the 5.0L and 4.9L both use a 10" disk. the bad thing is you will have a ton of stuff to change like the ECU, and engine harness and and other then the Ypipe and converters the exhaust will work. such a project is not for the faint of heart.

Hi got a ford f150 1986 f/i will not start

check fuel pressure @ service port on fuel rail. also listen for fuel pump to come on when you first turn on key. pump is in fuel tank. also note i have seen a lot of f150 302 injectors clogg up.but that usually effect idle and performance. if there is good fuel pressure then check fuel injector signal with a tester called a noid light. it is inexpensive and can be found @ most auto part stores. you really should'nt check injector signals with a standard 12 volt testlight. it has been known to burnout the drivers on the ecu. test all that first.

Ford 302 engine

Sounds like the fuel pump is not working. I would find myself a repair manual and start reading about troubleshooting. If not interested in that I would call a repair shop.
