04 Grand AM trouble starting in the sun.

I had a Honda Civic that did the same thing, I replaced the multi-relay (which has the computer power relay and fuel pump relay in it) in the car and it never did it again. Your car should have a seperate fuel pump relay, in the black box under the hood. You might also want to have the control module tested after the car sits out in the sun and won't start. Auto Zone can test them. I would also check for fuel at the test fitting on the fuel rail when it won't start. It maybe the relay.

I have a problem with a bad misfire and no power. There are strange exhaust noises also. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs and plug boots along with the ignition module. I have not replaced...

misfires are more from faulty injectors than anything else
low fuel pressure dirty injectors , wiring for injectors should be checked forst
after running the fault codes

What service does an 04 pontiac needs at at 80k?

gm coolant requires replacement at 5yrs/100,000 miles. rec having cooling system flushed. other then that a general inspection should be all thats required at this interval inspection should include brake linings, fluid lvls, air filter, tires, fluid leaks ect. although there may not be manufacturer requirements for transmission fluid and filter change may want to consider having it done, also fuel system service with injector flush is very benificial to fuel mileage and restoring engine power. gm does NOT ever recommend engine crankcase flushes that some service shops sell. spark plugs in these engines do not require replacing until 100k miles unless causing engine to run rough
