There is a transmission dipstick. I found it while removing my oil drain plug, so you have to be under the car to get at it. It is located at the rear section of the transaxle, the filling cap is located on the top.....this is also listing in the Haynes manual for this car.

How do you check the transmition oil level on a Nisson navara tekno 2011 automatic

If there's no dip stick you'll have to check it at the transmission pan. Some cars now have a recess in one corner of the pan. You pull the plug out when it's cold and if fluid runs out you're good. If none comes out you have to add fluid through that hole till fluid comes out. If your still not sure take the car to a dealer or a place like valvoline oil change garage.

My 2007 explorer is not shifting correctly and making noise from the rear, could it be the rear differential or the transmition

Could be either but start by checking the level and condition of your differential oil.
If the oil is dirty, gray, low in level, empty, or contaminated, you may need to replace your rear wheel bearings as well.

Transmission modulator

i think you need to have your transmition checked , your transmition may need a serious overhaul ,you may have electric soliniods inside transmition that are ceasing due to not having oil changes regularly , but first thing you may try , is to have filter replaced and oil and see if this helps , if you transmition filter is not reachable by removing oil pan , then gearbox will need to come out .

Check engine light on

well without more information do what its telling you, after its cooled down check oil level, coolent level, break fluid, transmition fluid, power stering fluid, when checking the transmition fluid you may have to start the car and let the engine warm up, check owners manuel to be sure. and dont forget to check your air filter. all these thing should be labled under the hood. and remember NEVER check radiator coolent while car is hott.. MAKE SURE THE CAR IS COLD AND HAS NOT RUN.. usualy check it in the morning after the car has cooled down over night..

Where is the transmission oil marker

automatic or standard transmition? There is no dipstick for the automatic transmition they are considered dealer sevicable only. However there is a plug on the bottom of the trany that you take out and no fluid should come out unless there is too much in it (which is kinda imposible seen is this is where you fill it)After removing the correct plug you need to get fluid up the tube inside and over the edge to fill the trany. The correct amount is when you fill it and it starts comming out you need to stop puttting fluid in and let it level off and stop dripping. Then you have the correct level and put the plug back.

Were i chek transmition oil

On the back of the engine towards the firewall, you'll find another dip stick colored red just like the engine oil which is colored yellow. Check the transmission oil with the engine running and the transmission oil at operating temperature. Pull it the dip stick out and wipe it clean and take the second reading, there will be markings on the dip stick to where the transmission fluid should be and never over fill your transmission, thats just as bad as having not enough transmission fluid.

Check transmition fluid is via the trans dip stick located were the engine meets the tranny.. Dip stick should be labled transmition with the engine hot and car in park. pull dip stick out wipe clean. reinsert into tube fully then remove. the highest oil level is the reading level is reference to the stamped marking on the dip stick indicating fluid level "high or low"

Need to know how to check oil in transmition in a 95 ford aspire

Check the engine oil level every time you fill the gas tank. The car should be on level ground when checking the oil.
  1. Turn the car off and wait several minutes.
  2. Locate the engine oil dipstick and withdraw it from the tube.
  3. Wipe the dipstick with a clean rag and reinsert it in the dipstick tube.
  4. Remove the dipstick again, hold the dipstick horizontally and observe the level of the oil.

Fig. 2: Observe the oil level on the dipstick and add oil if it is low

  1. The oil level should be at the FULL mark on the dipstick.
  2. If the level is at or near the LOW mark, replace the dipstick and add fresh oil to bring the level up to the FULL mark. Do not overfill.
  3. Recheck the oil level and close the hood.

Good luck, and remember rated this help!!!
