As you open the door on drivers side look to the dash as you open the door you will see a turn style clip turn it and you will see on the inside of the cover a list of # numbers ..it is read sideways so make sure you look at it properly ..counterclockwise with # 1 being at the very top ...it will direct you to it ..any issues and i will go to my vehicle and give you exact location if the information is missing from the inside panel

There are two - one at the left end of the dash (with driver's door open) and one under the hood on the driver's side. Fuse details are on the inside of the covers.

My a/c compressor on my 1999 gmc Jimmy slt does not come on

Most likely cause is low freon charge. It can also be an electrical issue with the compressor.... relay.... fuse....wiring. Check freon pressures first to determine if charge is low causing compressor to not operate first

Does a 1997 Gmc jimmy have back bums or pads

You mean drums? Depends on the vehicle options but should be rotors/pads. Easy to check - look through the wheel spokes and if pads, you should see the rotor.

1996 jimmy gmc fuse box

Look on the driver's side fender well under the hood. Should be a long black rectangular box there. That is the power center or fuse block. The relays and fuses are inside. The top is not hard to remove. Hope this helped and best wishes.
